We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not know the half of everything. I think it's time I provided you a complete picture of our street and the people who live on it. It will can be found in helpful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
